Who We Are
Arc Guard Ltd was established in 2024 by David Davenport, Technical Director at Transmag UK, and Craig Phillips of Lowen Glas Ltd. With extensive experience across safety-critical electrical environments, switchgear, controls, and manufacturing, the founders bring decades of practical engineering expertise.
Arc Guard was born from their shared experience investigating switchgear flashover incidents and a commitment to reducing arc-flash risk through practical, engineering-led solutions.
Today, Arc Guard delivers arc-flash protection, PPE, condition-based monitoring, safe systems of work, and specialist safety seminars. Our purpose is simple: to protect people, strengthen compliance, and improve safety across critical electrical systems.
